We got them.
We are not discovering anything, we always had the necessary tools to give back to our community in meaningful, positive, and smart ways. The best knowledge, encouragement, motivation and skills, come from successful entrepreneurs, CEO’s, C-level executives and like-minded mentors. They have all experienced different adverse situations, gone through rough times, financial issues, bankruptcy, difficult family circumstances, and diverse backgrounds. The best of all is that they overcame those unfavorable situations, and they hold a unique story full of knowledge, experiences, and the key to inspire and set the example for others.

Sunny Sheu is a 2nd generation owner of BT Furnishings, a DFW furniture store dedicated to providing the easiest shopping experience for customers. In the early days of the business, when it was still a small general merchandise store, I began working alongside my parents assembling bikes and repairing toys. As the business grew over the years as a result of the countless hours of hard work by the entire family, the furniture and home decor category became the core focus of the brand. we’ve worked in the business in various roles, from Sales to Deliveries and from General Manager to Buyer and from IT to Bookkeeper, but it was not until after college that I took on a leadership role and helped grow the business to four 100K square ft locations with over 90 team members. I’ve learned many hard business lessons, making countless mistakes along the way, and look forward to learning from and contributing to other entrepreneurs’ journeys. I graduated from UTD with a Management information systems degree in 2004.
