Entrepreneurship education has proven to have a positive impact on students and the future development of their businesses or companies. It’s defined as a learning activity that provides new and improved knowledge, fosters and reinforces skills, and forges a stronger character to face the business world. Those who receive entrepreneurial education are able to identify opportunities for entrepreneurship and thus create a business that benefits their personal growth and provides a solution to a problem, or meets the needs of the population, a fundamental aspect in the economic and social development of any country in the world.

But, why is the emergence of new entrepreneurs important? Many studies mention that it is necessary because it would boost economies and promote productivity in the collective, resulting in structural changes that allow progress towards a more prosperous future. 

Entrepreneurship education has two objectives. The first is to increase the number of people who can acquire new knowledge about entrepreneurship and self-employment to make this opportunity viable. The second is to prepare them with the necessary skills to become entrepreneurs and grow professionally and economically.

It is worth mentioning that not all students have to become entrepreneurs. However, by receiving entrepreneurial education and developing necessary skills, they will be beneficial for any job, as they will be able to be more competent in identifying areas of opportunity, the strengths and weaknesses of a company, and more.
